Elle a su faire preuve d’un grand professionnalisme tout en restant profondément empathique et disponible à chaque étape de l’organisation du rapatriement de mon feu oncle en Afrique. There is a reason why all of the reviews for Other Ways have 5 stars. This is well-deserved! Other Ways allowed me and my extended family to organise a ceremony that reflected my mother’s very unique life and character. We had a relatively large number of short speeches, one of which was by video, coordination with selected musical pieces was also required, and we also had a livestream in order to permit people who were emotionally close but geographically far (and physically unable to travel) to participate in the ceremony from their own homes. Géraldine was compassionate and flexible, and she did not complain at all even though we made certain key decisions quite late, and we also kept changing aspects of the ceremony up until the last moment. She was successful in keeping everything on track as it needed to be during the actual ceremony. Each family member was able to focus on their own presence and grief, because none of us needed to run anything — she took care of that. While our ceremony was bilingual English-French and so a little bit unusual, Géraldine is a native French speaker who would certainly also have been able to deliver a more traditional ceremony for a family who might want that. I expect she might nevertheless bring a more personal service than some of the larger and more well-known firms would have done. I would recommend Other Ways without hesitation to any friend or family member in Geneva who faced the difficult situation of needing the service of a « Pompes Funèbres » company.
