Die Medizinische Fakultät der Universität Bern trauert um Prof. em. Dr. med. Hildegard Portzehl. Geschätzte Emerita, vollamtliche ausserordentliche Professorin. Sie ist am 7. Juli 2026 im 105. Altersjahr verstorben. Hildegard Portzehl wurde im Jahr 1967 zur nebenamtlichen und 1971 zur vollamtlichen ausserordentlichen Professorin am Institut für Physiologie ernannt und war dort bis zu ihrer Emeritierung im Jahr 1987 tätig. Sie hat als Forscherin im Gebiet der Muskel-Eiweisse und als Lehrerin eine ganze Generation mit ihrem Fachwissen geprägt. Hildegard Portzehl wurde von ihren Kolleginnen und Kollegen geschätzt. Mit ihr verlieren wir einen wunderbaren Menschen. Hildegard Portzehl wird als grossartige Lehrerin und Forscherin in Erinnerung bleiben. Prof. Dr. med. Dr. h. c. mult. Claudio L. A.
