I have eventually found the sad news about my friend, who I met walking the dog in Champel. I had concerns that the surgery had not gone well and my WA messages not being answered. The date above was misleading as not 2/12/2025.... I too have links to Syros, as my Grandmothers family are from there. I next visit Syros in June and I hope to leave a memorial in Vari for Virginia. I sense we might find out we were distantly related.... Rest in Peace lovely, generous lady. xx
